The wide range of alloys proposed can be paired with the project and the prevailing characteristics required for its purpose. Various choices are offered between the 6XXX and 7XXX series, the result of prevalences or mix of aesthetics and mechanical values. For example for the 6xxx Series:

• EN AW 6060 for better surface finishes
• EN AW 6063 for best mechanical properties
• EN AW 6005A for superior mechanical properties
• EN AW 6061 for excellent mechanical properties
• EN AW 6082 for the highest mechanical properties of the 6xxx series
• EN AW 6463, the best for the surface finish grade of the 6xxx series

And for the 7xxx Series:

• EN AW 7020 for structural uses
• EN AW 7005A
